TESTS

Prior to the mounting of the timepiece, its components (dial, case, bracelet...) are subjected to a battery of tests that ensure their resistance capacity to any potential aggression: resistance to chemical corrosion; answers to diverse physical constraints and measurement of

their mechanical endurance... Examples of tests made include resistance tests to ultra-violet rays, anti-abrasion tests and tests to reactions such as a shock or a fall. At every ulterior stage of the watch’s production a whole new battery of controls are also carried out systematically.

BEAUTY UNDER THE MAGNIFYING GLASS

Once the technical qualities of the components have been appraised, the control phase can begin. The aesthetics of each component and the conformity of the dial with the original design are verified to the nearest micron while the quality of the engraving

and the perfection of the surface are minutely examined. In parallel, the aesthetic excellence of the dial’s bezel and face is controlled with a microscopic magnifying glass.
